The little shop in Ashton-in-Makerfield which is a bit of a tardis behind the door is a huge selection of carpet flooring. Very helpful but not pushy. I was able to take samples home to help with the decision making which was great. Measuring service available which for us was great they came out promptly and we paid our deposit and a few days later they called to say our carpet had arrived, they were happy to hold it until my decorating was completed. Fitters arrived as planned and did a great job. Very pleased with the carpet.

A MASSIVE thank you to Geoff and the team at Selecta carpets. Throughout the whole pandemic, we have like a lot of others been renovating our home etc, but Selecta Carpets is literally the only one place in which I didn’t begrudge paying the price for what me and my family received.

From starting the process of an initial enquiry, we expanded on the work portfolio with ease just because of the exemplary attitude to customer focus Geoff, the store team and the fitters provide. Nothing was ever too much trouble, suggestions were made but never pressured, samples were provided, left with us so we could discuss options and there was NEVER a hard sell. Geoff came to our home to measure but also provide advice and again further suggestions, this was always followed up with phone calls, and they even offered to bring our fitting date forward. When I say nothing was too much trouble, it genuinely was not too much trouble.

Then you have the team of fitters, who literally work hard to provide the best outcome and the perfect finish. Very polite, but also VERY TRUSTWORTHY people. They even cleaned up after themselves and ensured that we had time to check over their work to ensure we were fully happy.

At the start of the process from looking in the store in Ashton in Makerfield, we walked out to think about it but within a minute headed straight back to the store to commit our business to Geoff. The service was EXEMPLARY and OUTSTANDING.

If you want hassle-free, ideas and opinions, and trustworthy flooring or carpets seriously give Selecta carpets a consideration. We’re looking to do our main bathroom and ensuite next, and we will not be shopping anywhere else.

Geoff and his team provided laminate flooring and carpet matting on separate occasions at our dance studio. The customer service and the service of the fitters are second to none. I highly recommend this company and will be using them again on further refurbishment ? thanks again Selecta carpets

Really pleased with the Karndean flooring we’ve had fitted throughout our open-plan kitchen. We were able to take samples home, and ask any questions and the fitters were on point. It looks perfect and is great with the dog! Easy to clean, really durable. Highly recommend it and will be using it again.

Selecta recently (Feb 2020) fitted carpets and vinyl in our new build property after we were unhappy with the flooring options provided by the builder. They were very professional and fitted to a high standard, managing to get a lot done on a sole day that they were allowed access to the property before we moved in. Plenty of choices in the shop. We may still use them to lay vinyl tile in our kitchen/diner too.

Recently had new lounge carpet fitted, couldn’t be more pleased. Thanks very much to owner Steve for his help and advice in both choosing the best carpet and underlay for our needs. Many thanks also to both of your carpet fitters, very friendly and professional, and went out of their way in fitting the carpet.

Recommended to us by a relative when we were struggling to find what we wanted in the big name shops, we were very pleasantly surprised by the standard of service. Nothing was too much trouble, plenty to choose from, and we were able to take a few samples home while we decided what we want. Fitting was done promptly and attention to detail when discovered stairs all tapered inward was outstanding. I will definitely be using Selecta again as the standard of service is so much better than big brands and no mess left. I highly recommend this business

Absolutely amazing company! Fantastic, personal service, right from the start. So thorough and genuine – we really couldn’t have asked for more. All the guys we met from the team were so professional, so diligent and nothing was too much trouble. Despite some challenges which were nobody’s fault, they made sure the work on our house was completed by the agreed date and went out of their way to make sure we were 100% happy with everything. Awesome company. Fitted my floor at home and at my workplace. Both jobs are flawless, high quality and reasonably priced. We can’t praise Geoff and the team at Select a Carpets enough. They have definitely gone above and beyond what we would have expected from a carpet company. We popped into the shop following some water damage at my mum’s house and we were extremely impressed by the service we received. Geoff went to a lot of trouble to advise mum and to make sure that she had the floor coverings that were best for her. We were able to borrow samples and had a home visit prior to selecting and fitting. We were kept informed throughout the process. When we had to postpone fitting due to decorators over-running, Geoff ensured that the new dates were arranged swiftly. He understood and took my 80-year-old mum’s needs into consideration at all times. After-sales care has also been fantastic. Thank you very much for all your help – I would thoroughly recommend this company.

My wife and I got married in 1976 and Selecta Carpets fitted our first carpet. We have used them for all of our floor coverings since then. Geoff and his team have just fitted new flooring and have made a fantastic job again. The sales team and the fitters are total professionals, friendly and nothing is too much trouble 5 star + service.

We contacted these guys after a recommendation, Geoff came round to review the job and measure up. He then went through various choices from their vast range of options and we decided on a heavy-duty laminate in a beautiful grey colour. The availability for fitting was quick and tailored to our ability to be there. The quoting process was very in-depth and the price for the whole job was comfortably within our budget and massively competitive with other prices we had obtained. The fitters arrived on the day and time agreed, and swiftly removed our old floor and laid the new in the space of 2 days. The guys were very clean and tidy working and so professional. We now have a beautiful kitchen/diner floor and would like to thank Geoff and his team for what we can now enjoy ?
